I want to know if is there anyone that ever used LDH Cytotoxicity Colorimetric Assay Kit from ElabScience, cat number: e-bc-k771-m?
I did an experiment and I had some strange results, especially with high control OD's.
If there is somebody who has used this kit please help me!

Do you have FCS / serum in your cell culture medium? We have found strange and very variable results for LDH (Promega) when the FCS concentration in the medium is >5%.
Dear Mark Ian Fowler Yes I have 10% FBS in my culture medium because drugs needed to be solved in a complete medium and cultivation time is 48 hours.
I am not sure cells could live if we decrease the percentage of FBS for so long.
in the datasheet of the kit, they say the OD value of positive control should be lower than 2. but mine was higher than 3.
I subtracted reference wavelength OD and background as well.
But still, the result was interesting.
