Well it depends on the area of fibers to remove? Burning can be one solution with solder technique. Need to check the sensitivity factor before applying this technique.

Muhammad Faisal Waheed this is for cutting PCL with sub 200 um diameter. I have thought about burning but I think the burnt ends will be too warped or crimped. Thank you.

Alec McCarthy I would suggest to apply this technique on prototype first and see the results.
