Assalamualaikum and Good Day.
I am currently working with enzymatic antioxidants such as SOD, CAT, APX etc in rice plants exposed to different water level (water stress treatment). I am a bit curious about DPPH Assay method. Is it possible to use DPPH Assay in determine the activity of these enzymatic antioxidant? Any explanations is highly appreciated and I would like to thanks in advance.
Hello Mohamad Badrul hisyam Mat Lazim, Kindly see the article "Analytical Methods for Enzyme and DPPH Radical Scavenging Activities of Natural Pigments from Some Plants" Hee-Ock Boo and co-author investigated the Enzyme activities in plants by DPPH method for SOD, CAT and APX.
