I did a series of physicochemical and elemental analysis in wastewater biodiesel.However, I found some curious results. What can happen into biodiesel processing that results in high levels of fluoride and vanadium on biodiesel wastewater?
If biodiesel produced by using heterogeneous catalyst, may be because of leaching catalyst in reaction media.
A few questions Rodrigo: the plant is using homogeneous catalisys? You are comparing levels of F and V between raw and waste water? Which are the levels meassured of F and V? The plant uses ClH acid in the wash water? How are you meassuring those elements?
Calcium oxide or derived alkalizing agents may contain fluoride up to 1%. Is this used for production?
