We are looking for some mild pathogen/ non pathogen of Helicobacter pylori. We need to do some experiment for understanding of association of H. pylori with gastric tissue.
Thanks for your suggestion. You are absolutely right that CagA, VacA, Cag PAI, and some other genes are responsible for the virulence. And a knocking down of those genes may help us developing a system which will be less virulent than H. pylori. But unfortunately, we don't have sufficient resources to knock it down. Therefore, we are looking for some laboratory strains where researchers have already knocked those down and characterized it. We would be happy to share authorship with anyone who will share the strain with us. Please let us know if you have one of such mutants or you know someone who might have it?
