Disorder in some films develops Weak localization in the system and reduces the conductivity. 'Kaveh and Mott' has provided the quantum correction to the conductivity.
In physical sense is it like the weak localization has formed conducting channels in the system with dimension much smaller then the actual dimension. Hence the resistivity increased?

This is not true, you have to see the localization it self as consequence of disorder. Moreover, transport in quantum mechanics within the metallic phase is more complicated to be thought as trajecteries. The electron responsible for transport are delocalized. The conductivity get reduced due to interactions with that what causes disorders .
