Unfortunately, the presence of spores cannot be confirmed in your photo.
While growing my Bacillus strains (also from marine origin) for sporulation analysis, I usually supplement my media with 5mg/L of MnSO4, which leads them to sporulate within 48h (I sometimes incubate them up to 5 days).
Using this culture, you could either perform malachite green stain as stated before, or you could prepare fresh mounts and observe them in phase contrast microscope (no stain needed).
I do hope you have used malachite green or another endospore specific stain to determine if your bacteria is a spore former. Also, there ARE many endospore formers in the ocean, I give some interesting links below.
