to know easier way to degrade plastic using microorganisms.
All Pseudomonas sp doesent have the ability to degradae polyethylene but some sp. have the ability to utilize the polyethlene and it depends on the site from where you have to isolate Pseudomonas sp.
This question does interests me as I am working on a similar project that is on bio degradation of polyethylene and from the literature survey I have done a number of fungi and bacteria are capable of such and Yes..some species of Pseudomonas do degrade polyethylene.
