please search  again in Google Scholar and not Google and reformulate your question. Why ?

Google scholar shows the infos about the papers (free as pdf...)

You must define the conditions of your search with propidium Iodide (vital staining, in vitro, live/dead cells,   staining, flow cytometry  a.s.o.. ) .

I read the papers of Roth et al. too. it seems that you don ´t search in a right manner.

At first draw and compare the structures and properties (chemical , positive charges .......) of Sytox green and P.I.

On R.G. you can download and read the paper of  M.A. King. It is very useful .

This dye has been used to distinguish live from dead bacteria using flow cytometry, with

Thank you for your answer. Obviously I didn't only looked at google, but searched as well on Pubmed, Scopus etc. Nevertheless, I will try to search a bit more using specific search terms. 

I also found the paper of M.A. King, which contains some useful information.

thank you for your fast answer. I wish you a successful research. According to my previous answer, you can see, if you draw on PC the 2 intercalating dyes (2 D and  3 D/ Chembiodraw or ACD labs) , the different possibilities of intercalation e.g. binding with DNA and RNA.
