I was trying to read articles regarding factors affecting teachers' curriculum implementation levels. In so doing, I came across two: Teachers' pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) and self-efficacy, among others. Though some articles treated them separately, there are others which argued on interaction of the two. As such, I was interested to know which influence which among them. Can you help please?
Having sound PCK would influence a teacher's self-efficacy as the teacher would be more confident about application and by extension his or her ability to perform the job well. Bear in mind that the TPACK tend to overlook context, so a teacher may have good content knowledge but may be limited to use due to the lack of resources and other contextual factors to use it.

In that regard Debora, it means therefore that if we want to improve teachers' effectiveness in the face of new curricular reform, we better begin working with teachers' PCK rather than doing away their negative perceptions regarding their competences. Do you?
Yes indeed. You can also take the contextual factors that may impact on these negative perceptions in the design of your curricular as mentioned in the attached on TPACK.
