When I tried to include a small fraction of MoS2 nanoparticles in the formulation of cathodes for LiS batteries, I observed (in every case) that the coulombic efficiency of the battery starts to decrease from the 100-150 cycle to a value of ca. 80%.

We did not have this issue in similar cells built without the MoS2 particles and following the same synthetic/assembly procedures. Can anyone shed light on the origin of this behavior?

Thank you very much in advance.
