now I'm working on a research using CpG ODN.
In a few research papers using CpG ODN, they use JAWS II cell line for just uptake studies and use acquired BMDC in activation studies.
I know that human mDCs don't express TLR 7 and 9
However, as far as i know, TLR 9 is expressed at similar level between murine DC subsets.
I want to know weather JAWS II cell line express TLR-9 or not. Also, the reason why people use both of JAWS II and BMDC in one research paper.

I'm wondering the same thing. Based on this paper:

They found "undetectable expression of TLR9 in JAWSII cells," however, in the conclusions, they say that "The cells expressed TLR1, TLR3, and to some extent TLR4 as well as TLR9."
