Does Cys in the receptor interfere with Biacore studies, if so how do can we work around it?

we want to determine binding KD for small molecules by spr. The receptor to which the binding is to be studied contains csy groups.

I am concerned if that would affect the functionality of the receptor and therby the binding characterisitics.

if so how to work around it?
