I want to make a solution of SnCl2.2H2O and add 1 wt% of Cd in it. Compound I am using is CdCl2.H2O. But does CdCl2 dissolve in ethanol? I am employing spray pyrolysis for the preparation of doped thin film.
CdCl2.H2O can be dissolved in ethanol but the solubility is poor. You should not use high amounts, otherwise the solution will be quickly saturated.

Thank u so much sir
