I do need a protocol to isolate the cell wall of tobacco cells growing in suspension culture. The isolated cell walls are gonna be used for polysaccharides determination.
You would never get rid of all cell wall proteins as some of them are cross-linked to cell wall components. What you could do is to extract some of the proteins. See our paper on the extraction of wall proteins from bean suspension cultures.
