as im doing my thesis, Lidar is a light detection and ranging tools that can collect data for position along with the picturing it out. also, any building surveyor u would recommend for an interview session as im new towards the field
Widespread Lidar survey is a very expensive undertaking, our region probably has the best and most frequent in the world, and the repeat for those is about every five to ten years. For a dilapidation survey, much more frequent intervals, and really 'on demand' is required. So there are companies like EagleView that fuse multiple data sources from satelite imagery, aerial photography, drone stereo imagery, drive-by vehicle cameras, etc. for various customers like insurance companies.
