I'm starting my tests next week, I will test 4 different kits from 4 brands and I desire to know if anyone has tested FastPCR for diagnosis purpose with one of those ready-to-use pcr mixes? I Could use some guidance about which one will be the best.
The goal is simply to detect pathogens and identify them in culture or directly in samples patients. I also need to be able to analyse resistances genes. I'm trying to make my amplification method a lot faster than it's actually is (about 2:45 now)..

You can add a direct PCR kits to list , if you need not to store your DNA after PCR for any reference.
Any one among your list works as fast as to finish a PCR in 1hr roughly. almost 60% of your time reduced here.
If you have tissue and work for DNA isolation then to PCR, to combine the isolation and PCR in one go, you can prefer Direct PCR kits (there you need to take a pinch of the tissue and load to PCR reaction). These kits also works for fast PCR, you can finish a run in ~1hr.

Thank you Lakshmi fro your answer. My extraction are unified and all done by an automat (MagnaPure 96 from Roche). Mostly from Urine, Blood, and cephalo rachidian fluid so I dont need a direct PCR kit i think for this work.
I will give feedbacks as soon as I start having decent results

If you're working in a Roche environment, the optimum approach is the use of reagents recommended by the cycler manufacturer. Don't spend your time and energy testing other brands unless your aim is to find a cheap alternative.

Actually the cyclers where i work are from Applied Biosystems but my aim is indeed to select the faster/better/cheaper kit for my routine diagnosis work.
