Admittedly it is impossible to help you if you don’t specify the kind of errors you get, the compiler used, the versions of Environ and QE you are working with and so on.

By the look of it, it seems like for some reasons Environ is not finding the pieces of QE in the places it is expecting them…

Here is the steps I have followed (from the manual of Environ):

I have first downloaded the Environ source with the git command, from the QE root directory

git clone https://github.com/environ-developers/Environ.git

Then

# QE + Environ 3.1 Installation

The following instructions refer to Environ 3.0 installed on QE >= 7.1

From Environ root:

1. configure Environ with

- `./configure --with-qe=`

- the script will attempt to find the necessary libraries/compilers

- if it fails, the user may need to manually modify `make.inc`

2. compile Environ with

- `make -jN compile`

- `N` = number of cores for compilation (default = 1)

- if issues arise, retry with `N` = 1

From QE root:

# using make

1. configure QE with

- `./configure --with-environ=`

2. compile desired QE package with

- `make -jN `

Although I am not an expert in Environ, it seems to me that the compilation went ahead without issues.
