There are many kits for preparing PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) but there is no standard speed for centrifuging the blood samples. Indeed I was looking for published research on the platelet concentration gradient at different g-forces and found absolutely nothing!
It is well known that if you spin down blood too hard you will damage/activate the platelets, and so it is odd that this simple bit of research has not been published even though blood banks have been spinning down blood for years.
