I have to purify a recombinant protein coupled to his-tag, wich is expressed in yeast. In my laboratory it is being evaluated as a method of analysis the "Y-PER Yeast Proteins Extraction Reagent". In addition, as a metho of purification of the recombinant protein will be the "Probond Purification System" resin.
Does anyone know if the detergents of the "Y-PER Yeast Protin Extraction Reagent" can cause interference in the purification of my protein of interest by the probond system?
Y-PER-Plus Reagent is compatible with standard affinity-purification protocols for glutathione S-transferase (GST) and His-tagged proteins. I am nor sure about the Y-PER reagent.

Y-PER Reagent is compatible with affinity-based purification protocols and it is mentioned in their manual.
