Hi Manoj,

Bathophenanthroline is soluble in most of organic solvents, therefore must be soluble in alcohol or acetone. first check the purity of your sample may be the insoluble material is impurity, then do your calculation.

0.1M= [mass/molarmass]/volum(L).

Hi Salim,

thanks for your input. its purchased from sigma aldrich and its pure. And not soluble in ethanol. I have to use this for biological experiments (involving Protein-DNA biomecules), I cannot use acetone.
