Few years ago Bayer had glycated hemoglobin strips for human (A1C Now+) that perfectly measured glycated hemoglobin in rats, but those strips were discontinuated. Then we started to use a DCA System from Siemens, but the detection range doesn't allow us to differenciate glycated hemoglobin, namely between diabetic rats of the control group and diabetic rats of the therapy group. Does anyone know or use any other measurement assay with good detection range in rats? We are also interested in Fructosamine assays, but it will be helpful if there was no need to do colorimetric/ELISA assays, and that's why those strips from Bayer were an excellent option.
Thank you!!
