I would like to characterize milk content of camel and cow, especially the proteins and lipids by easy techniques.
Gerber method use for fat content in milk , you take Gerber tube and 10 ml from milk add 11 ml sulphic acid and 1 ml amel alcohol and centrifugeat 1100 rpm for 15 min

but you can use lactoflish tool It give all compositions of milk and it need one min.
Gerber method for fat and Khildal method for protein are ok but you can see on the A.O.A.C. methods (even on line) if you want to know other methodologies, maybe easier.

If you mean main contents of milk then use a milko scan to analysis milk constituents. For protein analysis you must employ SDS-Page or western blot techniques. For more general analysis try to assess the compounds using AOAC methods.
