Does anyone know why the quartz torches in the iCAP Q series splitter regularly after shutting off the plasma?
because the cooling rate is too high? definitively a thermal problem..
how about the quartz quality ? is the OEM as good as the spare ones?
nur die uebliche Verdaechtigung, I have no experience with this device.
We have an iCAP Q and a few problems, but none with cracking torches. Maybe a high foward power with low cooling gas flow rate. I assume, that you use original Thermo Torches. Is it with liquid or solid sampling like ETV or LA?
Decrease incident power (slowly if possible) before shutting off the plasma
