After registration you can download the images for free.

You select the collection you desire (e.g. Landsat 8) and click on your area of interest on the map. Relevant scenes will be shown as quick-looks and you can select and put in bag for subsequent download in various formats.

MODIS data can be found here: http://lance-modis.eosdis.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/imagery/realtime.cgi also for direct download.

Thanks sandeep. I'm doing research in multispectral/hyperspectral image segmentation. What's my qn is I need MS or HS image data of my location.

(latitude 12°41'N, longitude 079°17'E)

Also I got some images from LANDSAT site. But there are not directly processable in matlab. They need geometric transformation and registration at all. Is there any source to get image readily to process..Thanks in Advance.
