There is no publicly available genome or transcriptome for sweetgum (Liquidambar styraciflua) and I've had no success designing primers for the (very few) sequences in GenBank. The one publication I found for RT-PCR of genes in this tree published gene expression without a reference gene (!). Any help would be very appreciated.
