What are you after, exactly? And only for oysters and mussels? There is plenty of archaeological work on these taxa (especially oyster), but for a quick summary see the entries in:

Fantastic, thanks Sean. Do you have any publication on oyster shells in middens in north Queensland, do you think shellfish were an important food source for Indigenous Australians?

Yes, there are many publications on shellfish in north Queensland middens. Many contain oysters too. Are there particular geographical areas or taxa you are interested in?

Shellfish were an important part of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander subsistence practices.

I'll go do my time with Scopus and get back to you. Great to get advice from an expert. Appreciated Sean.
