I'm using RMarkdown to write a complete and computationally reproducible report of my research. Also, I want to write manuscripts for submission using RMarkdown. It seems that eLife already receives manuscripts in rmarkdown format and publishes them as a reproducible and interactive paper. I don't know any other journal in the life sciences that uses this manuscript format.
I'm starting to write a munuscript for submission to Protein Science. This journal accepts LaTeX format manuscripts. It would be helpful if already existed an rmarkdown template for Protein Science, or a general template for Wiley journals, by which I could to knit for latex or pdf. The R package rticles provides templates for some scientific publications, including Elsevier journals. But, until I saw, Wiley is not included.
