could you please identify the specific question? "ease of ignition" and "fire Performance properties" is not very detailed, and you could help us to help you by improving the question.

One possible value is autoignition temperature, which is the temperature where a material starts to burn without an external ignition source (like a spark). I think, it is ASTM E 1491 for dust, but I am not sure about wood chips or logs.

I am sorry for missing some parts of my answer yesterday. HHV and LHV are two parameters showing the energy content in any fuel. They are introduced as the quantity of heat energy released when burning 1kg of fuel. The diference between HHV and LHV are in the phase of the H2O content in the combustion products. They can be measured by the Calorimeter?

You can measure by DSC and perform ultimate analysis , to obtain LHV and HHV.

Another alternative is perfome TG/DSC.

Do you mean that easy firing the wood? Then you have many options like it should be dried enough or some firing agent you could add.
