I would like to coat glass coverslips with antibodies in a sterile way does anyone have already tried ? If yes, what protocol did you use to make it possible.
The coating would be made for a microscopy staining experiment with non-adhesive cells.

When we coat proteins to a glass coverslip, we use Cromic-sulphuric acid overnight to degrease. After that we dry the glasses at 60 degrees celsius. Then you can place a drop of protein solution on parafilm. Slide the glass on the protein solution and incubate at RT (1-2 hours). Block in 1% BSA or HSA overnight at 4°C. Store at 4°C, max 2-3 days. You can also freeze the glasses in the blocking solution at -20°C for longer storage.

I am also trying the same experimental procedure as you are. Antibody coating to glass slides, staining non adherent cells for confocal microscopy observation. Did you come across any success of your experiments..? If so please share the protocol. Greatly appreciate.
