What could be the distribution (Normal, Poison) of the place of the optimized page in the Google search results, let's say.

Abid, thank you for the link - it is very useful. My idea is to explore the idea of statistical modelling of the behavior of arbitrary web-page as a function the SEO success factors. So as long the behavior of the page is random, I was wondering what would be the distribution of the appearance of the page in (let say) Google search.
