I use principle component analysis quite a lot also for personal use. For this I would like to purchase an addin for Excel. If the addin is able to do more, that is ok.
another possibiliy is to install RExcel. you can find it easily over the web. It intergrates R in Excel where you can then use the princomp function of R in Excel.
WinStat is a powerful Excel-Addin. It was designed by a German Software Company. It does mighty analyses including PCA - at least I think. Feel free to google and download a free trial version including manual. The commercial version is rather cheap - around 100 € as I remember, at least this was the price couple of years ago.
