Hello folks,

I've been using Crystal/Mount™ as a mounting medium for tissue slices and it used to be so good. However, Crystal/Mount™ is not produced anymore and we've been lost finding a product that worked just as well. We keep struggling with bubbles that seem to emerge from the tissue slices over time, drying out the whole slide. Mostly, we also have bubbles right after mounting. Could be a problem with the PAP pen as well (anybody have any recommendations here?), but really, I'm at a loss.

It needs to be aqueous, suitable for staining (safranin O, H and E etc.), immunostaining (alkaline phosphatase) and - as a bonus - for fluorescent dyes such as DAPI or Alexa dyes.
