Hi Olaf,

I have used MP96 with "MagNA Pure 96 DNA and Viral NA" kit to isolate total nucleic acid in combination with a commercial PCR kit for 16S bacterial amplification. My experience for this use were more than satisfactory.

However, I should mention that I never have used it in combination with Illuminas MiSeq.

We have the same questions about the purity of bacterial DNA from MagNapure 96 for 16S analysis on Illuminas MiSeq. ? Since nov 2015, have you got more answers? Did you compare DNA extraction by kit Qiagen vs Magnapure?

MagNapure 96 will works quite good, but is not the best choice.
