Mankind learned a valuable lesson 400 years ago that it is bad science to rely on untested concept (e.g. the Earth is static at the center). Unfortunately researchers of computer science repeated the same mistake and have been trying to evolve software engineering and computer science for nearly 50 years by relying on myths (e.g. derived from fantasy or wishful thinking).
This raises a valid question, is computer science alone or any other modern scientific discipline have been practicing bad science by relying on such unsubstantiated myths (e.g. derived from fantasy or wishful thinking).
Up until 500 years ago, it was inconceivable to accept the fact that the Earth is moving (around the Sun). If it was True, the Erath must be moving at an astonishing speed considering the circumference of orbit (today we know the speed of the Earth is 30KM per second). They had justifiable concerns: If the Earth is moving, why the Moon behind is not left behind? For example, how could the Moon, having huge mass, fallow the Earth moving at the astonishing speed?
But unfortunately researchers of computer science have been ignoring obvious facts and reality (i.e. huge contradictions with reality). Software researchers have no such justifiable concerns, except using baseless excuses for ignoring reality (i.e. refusing to know reality). I hope Software researchers realize that it is bad science to rely on untested myths. This simple truth is facing so much prejudice and discrimination as if it can’t be True, if it is not from respected professors at leading university or organization such as Stanford or MIT.
