Pasteur reported that Yeast under anaerobic conditions produces alcohol. Lactic acid contamination suspends fermentation and promotes growth. We are yet to udentify the immediate precursor of both lactic acid and alcohol, a confusion, which exsta in fornsic medicine as well as in alcohol industry and in cancers and diabetes.
