I have two IV’s. 1 is intervention (3 levels= seminar, practice, control) 2 is time (2 levels= pre and post). And 3 DVs(depression, anxiety, wellbeing) . Really confused about how to proceed, thank you for your help.
Technically, any univariate design has a multivariate counterpart. However, a repeated measure by it very definition is a multivariate observation. Do you mean a 2-way factorial design with repeated measures in each of the cells? If that is the case, it can definitely be analyzed.
James E. McLean thank you for taking the time to respond. I believe I’m looking at a mixed factorial design. I’m testing depression anxiety and wellbeing pre and post intervention. But I have participants assigned to one of three interventions. So some are taking part in a seminar, others in a practice group and another group is just a control group with no intervention. I’m hoping to see if any intervention impacts the DV’s and whether this impact differs based on the type of intervention they received.
David Morse excellent thank you so much. I had confused myself because while all of my participants are getting measured at two time points, they are not all doing the same intervention.
