Did your country establish "Psychology Acts" for psychologists to practice?
I just discovered that Malaysia still does not have the Psychology Acts for psychologists to practice, where psychologists ride on "counsellor" licences to get certified and allowed to practice, unless they are clinical psychologists. How does a country/your country get its "Psychology Acts and Policies"? What are the processes involved since the word "Acts" sound legally related? Who should pursue them? In my country, Mexico, you can legally do psychologycal counseling as long as you have your college degree. However, you are not legally required to be a clinical psychologist to counseling
In my country there is one of the best laws for psychotherapy. In Austria, 23 psychotherapeutic methods are currently officially accepted, which can be roughly summarized in four directions:

Yes India also has Acts related to Practice of Psychology. RCI Act 1992, 2000 RPWD Act 2018, Mental Health Care Act 2017, Allied And Health care Professions Act 2020.
