Yes absolutely, the medical professional field became just trade. I not talking about the whole field, but the higher percentage is as you mentioned (inhuman).
Unluckily like other profession a mix percentage for both type of approaches are found here where some professionals are humanly committed to their job where as other are doing opposite of their professional duties .
It is true that the advanced medical technologies have made the Physicians to earn more money on these days.
Medical profession has become competitive to attract the patients to check their physically and financially to suck their money by doing many tests.
If any patients going to admit hospitals then he may recover but the patient become the regular customers until he or she will die.
Very few Doctors have humanitarian treatments but very less percentage. Gone are the days, physicians supporting the patients. The main objective is to earn money if not, they will not give the treatments.
Of course, all the medicines are costly now a day. The shed light on the new label to attract other countries patients in the form of "Medical Tourism". The patients can come to have a treatments then cured can go to visit many places in the country. The patient can have final check-up after two months before leaving to the airport.
This is new concept that the Medical Tourism attracts rich patients to come over to have a treatments.
The other way, this Medical Tourism will help the patients to come over to have treatments + tour to visits many places after the treatments.
Missionaries are rendering medical services on the basis of humanitarian aspects.
