Dear Gholamreza: carbonatites are typical, but not exclusive, of continental environments, they usually intrude precambian basement rocks, so if there is an ancient massif in Central Iran, surely could have some carbonatite intrusions in it. I don't know which age have hose mentioned in Bafq Area, quite probably they could be Mesozoic (like those of Eastern Brazil), but some carbonatites in Africa are Proterozoic (Palaborwa), but I have no information whatsoever about Iran.
