Any accreditation is helpful in ensuring pursuit of quality and professionalism in the mission of the institutions concerned. It helps the customers to know the stature of these institutions in terms of fulfillment of their claims. There are several organizations in all fields that make false claims, which leads to cheating of innocent customers. Accreditation of some puts pressure on others to come up to their standard so as to survive and grow.
Thus, society owes responsibility to allow credible accreditation agencies to come up and perform the expected role of measuring the performance standards of the claimant institutions. Thus, AACSB, is performing a good role in this regard, which helps furthering standards in management education.
Aiming to determine the quality, and therefore of satisfaction, because this is quality in every sense, it is very necessary. When buying a product, we want to meet our expectations, so coming to the university, the students want to learn what was also a specific quality, verifiable and reproducible. On the basis of this knowledge it is easy to determine the level of education, which affects the status of the university. It supports specifying what can or conależy change the level (quality) education was higher.
As long as things become global in nature, the necessity to create a standard becomes imperative. Business now is one of the human activities which becomes international in behavior and therefore schools that educate business should meet that common standard which is checked evaluated and certified with a globally certified accreditation company. These accreditation are vital in checking the compatibility of knowledge and skills so that the cross continental business is done professionally and effectively.
Yes my friend Professor Shafig. AACSB is a necessity for high business standards.
AACSB Accreditation isn't solely beneficial for students and employers, it provides many advantages for faculty and staff too. At an AACSB-accredited school faculty and staff have ...
higher quality peers with advanced academic and professional credentials.
greater access to the business community.
classes with higher quality students.
a sense of pride for their school that results in an improved internal culture.
a concrete framework to continually measure program and school quality.
more opportunities to collaborate internationally.

You also need to consider the location or system of the business school in question. Aside from AACSB, there are also EQUIS and AMBA. My belief is that AACSB, as a US-based organization, reflects more the standards of American education. On the other hand, EQUIS is more European in orientation.
This difference matters since US MBA programs award more two-year degrees than European ones which frequently offer one-year MBA programs. The implication is that context matters when deciding which accrediting body can better meet the needs of specific business schools.
Accreditation is issued on the basis of an assessment conducted by a team of researchers from different universities of the country. They assess an individual's ability and competence in the fields and specialties.
Its the best way to improve the quality. explains that the organization evaluates business programmes according to the highest standards of quality, and examines all aspects of a school's academic programme, including teaching, curriculum, student learning, institutional development, global awareness and academic research quality. Because of its rigorous standards, less than 5% of the world's 13,000 business programmes have earned AACSB accreditation.
In support of its commitment to process improvement, AACSB International (AACSB) announces its decision to pursue a globally recognized quality assurance certification through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
This move underscores AACSB's global focus, aligns with its new mission and vision, and facilitates increased engagement with the worldwide business community. ISO certification is sought after by leading businesses around the world and is achieved after a comprehensive third-party review of processes and quality control mechanisms—similar to AACSB's own accreditation processes.
"AACSB's accredited schools operate in more than 50 countries worldwide, each of which must navigate varying country-based regulations, remain vigilant to cultural nuances, and provide quality educational services to meet differing market and student needs," said Thomas R. Robinson, president and CEO of AACSB International. "The completion of ISO's stringent global review will further validate AACSB's quality improvement processes, empowering our accredited schools to deliver the highest value in business education."...
