I prefer the printed books. Maybe we can call it "the habits of the previous generation". Printed books, although they are expensive, are better protected. In my opininion, it is same case for the photos. I think the old printed photos are better memories.
It is useful for me in electronic format and also in printed form
In digital form I see the advantage of having an electronic file, but my notes about its content I have to elaborate in Word and also save them as comments or observations to the text in question.
When I get the book in printed form on paper, I have an ancestral taste for it. Palpate and smell the hard covers or covers and quickly browse their content (which I can also do with the electronic or pdf format, but it is not the same sensation or the same taste). Finally, apart from the paragraphs that interest me, I make handwritten notes.
In a long text such as a book, it is easier for me to find passages that I remember but didn't mark at the time of reading or to skim through, looking for particular things. Flipping and riffling pages is easier than scrolling, and the problem with electronic word search is that I may not know all the relevant words or their synonyms, but I can easily recognize them as I skim and riffle.
I consider printed books more convinient for the health of my eyes and my entire body, although I resort to online versions for searching specific words or paragraphs I cannot accurately remember. In short, I use both even though the printed books more time than the online versions.
Printed books are convenient to use in many ways...
1. Eye friendly
2. Easy to find anything related to the book without depending much on computer or electricity
3. Can mark the content easily for future use.
4. Many more.......
On the other hand, books from internet or e-books or soft copies have their own advantages in the present context for ease in searching with key words, sharing, transferring data, copying specific portions, transforming ideas from the content to other new areas easily, finding glossary through the online link quickly etc.
Only because of the lackings of printed version book, i could not draw a model last night. I couldremember, from which book i studied but the book was not available to me.
And, seems to me, the emergency of internet is no need to be mentioned.
Both are useful, but I find printed books better than e-books as it hastens patience & concentration instead of frenetic haste, where ebooks may sometimes be strenuous to the eyes of the reader ....
Both ....but i would prefer to use internet / open access documents first as its quite speedy, user friendly, convinient and easy. Easy peasy limons squeezy 😊
This depend on the generation you might belong to, if you from the old school you mat prefer book and the most current generation may prefer the internet the the middle generation may prefer both

I like physical books because they allow me a moment of relaxation when I leave my laptop and enjoy reading, with a cup of coffee. Digital books are useful to be low cost, easy storage in different electronic devices and exchange with other researchers, and can have a large collection at low cost. Based on this, recreational reading in physical and academic activities in digital for me.
For reading I have my own thinking , my own experience & for reading the book I also keep the same as valued in life . It is in this line I wish to prefer only a printed book .
I prefer printed books, mostly. I’m not very fond of the format ebooks have taken. I like the traditional pages. Getting away from the laptop also helps me concentrate and focus. They’re some pdf books that maintain the same page formats as in printed books; those are OK as well, but nothing compares to physical pages.
Both are fine but due to the availability of the internet on phone, laptops etc. peoples used to read on screen. So, they can read any time anywhere, even in bed.
