Does anyone have experience with antibodies to stain T-cells (all subtypes), B-cells (plasma cells), macrophages (all subtypes), and NK cells that work well with paraffin-embedded and/or cryo-sections of mouse tissue?
Most immune cell subtypes are best identified by combinations of antibodies and the use of flow cytometry, but some of the more specific epitopes should serve well for IHC and to combine antibodies IF can be used. However, I struggle to find good examples in the literature.

Thanks, Stefano. Although as a general macrophage marker we already have F4/80 working well (as one of the few stainings we figured out so far) I will keep it in mind as an alternative. Would you agree? By the way, do you have experience with markers for polarized (e.g. M1/M2) macrophages, by any chance? Thanks again.
If you're looking at NK in C57Bl/6 mice, you can use the NK1.1 antibody. If you're working with balb/c, you can use NKp46. Regarding macrophages, both of you are correct, CD68 and F4/80 are good markers even through you will not be able to determine the phenotype of the macrophages. For B cells, CD19 is a good markers and finally for T cells, you can use CD3 for detecting all T cells and CD4 or CD8 if you want to distinguish the subsets.
Update: after a large number of tests, I can recommend:
CD4 - Rabbit, Sino Biological, ref 50134-R001
CD8 - Rabbit, Synaptic Systems, ref 361 003
CD3 - Rabbit, DAKO, ref. IS50330

Useful post this one! I'm looking forward to buy some antibodies for IHC identification of immune cells. Is there any M1/M2 macrophage markers that you can recommend? And what about neutrophils?

The M1/M2 question is tricky, I don't know if any single marker will be sufficient, unfortunately. But I am interested if anyone has a suggestion!
Likewise for neutrophils: don't know but would appreciate someone helping out!
