Ukrainian crisis and other developments in Russia have moved this country to an unfriendly policy. Do You think Russia will cope with its problems by such aggressive policy?
That it treats many other countries as unfriendly and wishing harm to Russia. There are only few countries who maintain friendly relations with Russia. It tries to oppose the rest of the world as much as it can. And it began to close its products market with the slogan - do everything Yourself. Politically it attacks all opposition and really independent NGOs were called pro-Western spies and closed. Is it not isolationist policy?
it seems, our dear Russia turned to the East. Mainland China is among these "few frendly states", being the absolute winner in this Russian-EU/USA sanction's conflict. It is difficult to say now whether Russia have the great success "economically and culturally" or not. We will see it in few years.
It is not Russia that tries to make military alliance with neighboring country of the US but the US that tries to extend its military alliance all around Russia. Of course it is for humanitarian purposes and protection against the vilain!!!! Please remember that the US military budget is 600 billion a year while Russian military budget is 51 billion a year. And the military budget of the US is only the tip of the iceberg. They have huge capability of spying through all the electronic communication systems and who knows how much secret funding and secret support they can provide to all the political movements that converge to their interests without speaking of the global mass media manipulation not only in the US but in the world. They have an overt foreigh policy where they present themself as the good guys only concern with human rights and democracy but they also engaged directly or indirectly through proxies in massive covert destabilisation actions and Russia is a prime target of these efforts.
