What has changed over the years is that we are not limited to face to face platforms. For years digital platforms have been providing the means for engagement to occur. I'm sure that digital has helped increase access for the disabled and elderly
I agree with Obed. Social dialogue is a powerful tool if employed or studied without bias. Social dialogue has become a lifeline to the world for my mother with has advanced ALS. That ability to have social dialogue with doctors and other ALS patients has widened her perspectives about many key topics that affect her personal affiliations.
Social dialogue is as relevant community engagement tool today as before. It is meant to be among others, consensual, integrative and participatory, and still has a wide array of applications in a variety of human developmental spheres.
