It seems that social events nowadays get accelerated with such speed. Often they leave no time to think enough or reflect. Do You have the same feeling for social writing, researching or lecturing?

It is understandable that practice would be ahead of research in this circumstance, but all the more reason that we must push on with this research to find solutions to such volatile situations. I can speak from own situation in higher education, where I witnessed after doing my doctoral research, one of my committee members became Chair of my department as was able to include cultural competence on our programme evaluation forms.
