We PEGylated nanoparticles in DMSO with (5KDa PEG).

Then we performed dialysis using a membrane of 3.5-5 kDa MWCO against DI water.

Our nanoparticles has mol. wt. of 441 g/mol (441 Da) and size is approx 10 to 15 nm.

Do the nanoparticles can flow out of membrane (go to the dialysate) if it is not conjugated with 5 kDa PEG?

By MW, 441 Da nanoparticles certainly crosses across the 5 kDa membrane. But I am wondering since it is a big molecule of 15 nm can pass through membrane.

I appreciate your response.

Thank you.
