For DHA it is well documented the effect on Akt phosphorylation. It all depends on the system of cell type you are looking for. In insulin resistence in vivo there is not much evidence despite the fact that in vitro there are several reports. For EPA it has been described to be pro inflammatory and, in some cases, pro cell death which in turn has shown to not affect Akt activity of phosphorylation.
