A thought just passed by and generated a question to be answered. If anyone interested!
When a person proposes interest in selecting a partner (expected partner) and finds few more trying to impress the same individual, that shows active competition in 'Sexual selection'. But how is the interest grown by this person towards the expected partner accounted as? Amongst many, choice of the person towards expected partner is also to be accounted as a competition and possible a passive one. Isn't it? Then sexual selection is just not a one way competition that is often discussed. Right?
'Sexual selection' (e.g. one partner selects and choice imposed to the other partner via competition or attractiveness) or 'Sexual interaction selection' (e.g. two partners select during social interactions to come up with mutual choice where the two agree to continue a social bond)?
To what extent do dreaming or imagination contribute to 'Sexual selection' or 'Sexual interaction selection'?
