well I just want to know if using different cell lines will have an effect upon IC50 of Aciclovir , for example . in other words will the IC50 of Aciclovir differ or not if tested in two different cell culture (e.g Vero cell and Hela cell ).
Also if using same cell culture type of cell but this time inoculating different strain of the virus. Is IC50 of Aciclovir, for example, is going to be the same for both strains or not ?
Of course, the effect of the same drug treatment on different cells is different, resulting in different IC50 values.

What reference do you want? Different IC50 values originate from individual differences.There is no need to keep the results consistent if you have chosen two or more cell lines.
